Victims of Crime
Powell Law provides attentive, supportive, and strictly confidential service for challenging cases of abuse, trafficking, and victims of crime. If you are married to a U.S. citizen and have been abused, have been the victim of a crime, or have been the victim of sex or labor trafficking, we can assist you.
Green Card through VAWA
Powell Law works with both women and men who are eligible to obtain a Green Card through VAWA (Violence Against Women Act). VAWA provides a confidential path to a green card and removes the abuser from the process. Those eligible have been the subject of abuse by a U.S. citizen spouse, former spouse, parent, son, or daughter, or by a permanent resident spouse, former spouse, or parent.
